Tested vs. Tempted….”Let’s Get Ready 2 Rumble”

1 Peter 1:6-7 “We have to bear trials as a test.

                                                  VS.

James 1:14 “But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.

Test(Definition): A procedure for critical evaluation; a means of determining the presence, quality, or truth of something.

                                                  VS.

Tempted(Definition): To try to get (someone) to do wrong, especially by a promise of reward. 2. To be inviting or attractive to.

I want to begin with saying that WE give the enemy TO MUCH credit for the trials that we face or have faced in our lives. I noticed in the above definitions being TESTED is a “PROCEDURE”, which is something that actually takes place; however, I couldn’t help but notice in the definition of TEMPTED it said TO TRY. God doesn’t have TO TRY to do ANYTHING. He has ALL POWER therefore He has NO NEED to PLAY GAMES. Whereas the devil has NO AUTHORITY OR POWER and he feeds off our fleshly desires (as stated above in James 1). Here are a few verses to confirm  1 Peter 5:8 “Satan is the power at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God” Ephesians 2:2  “Anyone who is not under the control of the sovereign God is under the control of the devil” Acts 26:18; 2 Corinthians 4:4 “Born-again Christians are no longer enslaved to Satan or to sin” Romans 6:6-7 “but this does not mean we are immune to the temptations that he puts before us.”

On the other hand God tests us as the definition above states in a  “CRITICAL EVALUATION” “DETERMINING THE PRESENCE” “QUALITY” OF HIM IN US!!!  look @ the definition above. God test in this critical evaluation to determine His presence in our lives & the QUALITY that we have for Him. ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME?!? God will NEVER TEMPT you so when you hear that VOICE inside and PLEASE don’t act as if I’m the ONLY ONE who hears that voice DAILY!!!  That’s the enemy TRYING to sway you in the wrong direction, which is MOST LIKELY away from the WILL/PLAN of God for your life. However, when things ACTUALLY HAPPEN in your life that YOU have NO CONTROL over consider it a TEST from God to EVALUATE HIS PRESENCE IN YOU. Today be ENCOURAGE to TRULY understand the DIFFERENCE between being TESTED vs. TEMPTED and KNOW that thru READING/DWELLING IN/APPLYING  God’s UNCHANGING/TRUE word into your DAILY LIFE/HEART/SPIRIT you are TOTALLY EQUIPPED to fight off those TEMPTATIONS & FULLY EQUIPPED to ACCEPT/UNDERSTAND/PASS  the TESTS that God sends in your direction.
Please take a moment and clear your heart and PRAISE God for TEST & TRIALS because as the WORD says in James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
1 Cor 10:13 “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

ENOUGH SAID!!!!

Be Bold

Be Prepared to be TESTED by Being in God’s Will

Be Strong enough to REJECT TEMPTATION in Jesus Name

Be In Your Word DAILY to TRULY UNDERSTAND the    DIFFERENCE……………………

Giving into temptation is to break God?s law. A trial is a difficult time. James tells us to consider trials a joy; we should welcome them.
Why? Testing develops perseverance, and ultimately maturity. Then we can handle anything. This is different than giving into temptation. Love Dad Always

This post ain’t nothing but the truth. We grow through tests…whether we pass or fail, praise God for growth in Him. Temptations come from Satan, but for real, God allows that as well. That bamma Satan can’t do JACK w/o God’s say so. Temptations come to weaken us, but tests are designed to make us stronger. Tests are designed to build our witness. Tests increase our faith. Thank you Mo for this reminder. God didn’t bring us this far to leave us. So, we are to cling to Him during the tests and LEAN on Him and ONLY HIM when we are tempted b/c we can do NOTHING w/o God’s help.
    BEAUTIFUL POST!!!
