Have you ever asked someone to do something for you and not only did they do the job well, but they also did more than what you asked of them? Do you remember how that additional gesture made you feel? Just think of how we can make God smile when we DO MORE for His glory; going above and beyond carrying out our normal task(s) by making an unexpected, unsolicited investment in the life of someone else.

Matthew 5:41 states, If anyone forces you to go one mile, go also the second. When we apply this verse to our daily life, God’s power is revealed through us. We become an instrument of His grace.

Ask yourself, “How can I challenge myself to do more?” This is one of those things where action is required to make it happen. All it takes is a willing spirit and a desire to please God and to improve the quality of someone’s life, even if it’s just a little bit. Pure motives and an open heart is all it takes, along with a little Bold&Fabulousness!!

Will you take the challenge today? Will you go the extra mile for someone on your own free will? Make it happen, in JESUS’ NAME!!!

I’m up for the challenge sis!! Someone bought everyone slurpees to our rehearsal on Monday just as a random act of kindness… you have no idea how much that brightened my day and others. It’s the little things and it doesn’t always cost money!! Thanks for the challenge … I’m on it!

PS. Your pic at the end of your post is BEAUTIFUL and oh so FABULOUS!!!!!! ~ Bianca

This is definitely a word for everyone to live by and put into practice immediately. Not to mention that oftentimes our blessings and rewards are in the giving. Not just giving but as you so accurately stated doing so with “pure motives and an open heart”…without the expectation of receiving…this is when God is truly glorified!
