PSA: There will be NOTHING within my blog today that any believer should take issue with, because I’m choosing to post scripture as the BULK of my piece today…regarding the TOPIC that is on my heart so strong right now. Instead of blogging from a place of emotion, as I have been guilty of in the past, I prefer to just give TRUTH; void of my feelings all together. At the end of the day, my feelings are a non-issue. How does GOD feel about it according to His Word?
James 4:16 — As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
Proverbs 27:1-2 — Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.
Psalm 94:4 — They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast.
James 3:5 — So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire!
1 Corinthians 4:6 — I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another.
Romans 11:17-21 — But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
John 5:30 — “I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.”
Galatians 6:14 — But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Luke 18:14 — I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.
